There was a SRB2 client-side sync mod for 2.0: https://mb.srb2.org/showthread.php?t=36185 Essentially it eliminates control lag at the cost of bits of synchronization.

In the past, there have been a few anti-viruses that have accidentally picked SRB2 up as being a virus, but SRB2 is most certainly not one. If you just download SRB2 and SRB2 mods from the official srb2.org website (and its subdomains such as mb.srb2.org), you'll be just fine.

Mister Nutty is just one of many forum skins you can choose here. The SRB2MB is still on vBulletin. Not really sure how it switched you there, but you can go change your forum skin at the bottom of the Edit Options User CP page under the "Forum Skin" selector.

Sonic Mania was originally just the Sonic 1 + 2 remasters bundled with a couple of new levels, but when shown to Iizuka, he loved it and asked them to make a full game out of it - yes, the remix was probably a part of that deal, but otherwise we would've just gotten a Sonic 1 + 2...
