The latter, yeah, it's a matter of compression. You can add many-multi-megabyte music for a custom map, but that generally also may mean most of what consists of that mod size-wise that people are downloading from here on the MB or a server with a lotta addons... is just music. I already answered somebody else that also mistook this as something for SRB2 vanilla, in this same thread some months ago. Don't download Kart map packs placed specifically under the sections for Kart addons in the MB if you're trying to find SRB2 2.2 mods to play.

You can always rename it to something shorter - just retype the path in the box so it refers to the renamed soundfont.
