I'm not a fan of the controls for the double jump, though I likely suspect that they're like this because of the glide mechanic. Even so, with all of these other verticality-enhancing things, it seems a bit superfluous to have a double jump too.

So, like Flimp completely breaks NiGHTS stages. Like, they're literally unplayable. It just slams straight down onto the ground, and you almost can't control it. I say "almost" because you can slide around on the ground and "headbutt", but that's IT. 1724446339 Update: Flimp immediately dies...

Quick note: They're called patagia, not skin flaps. The singular form of the word is patagium.

I manifest to ask this: is there any way to reduce/disable those screen-edge effects that appear while travelling at high speeds? They can be a bit distracting.
