Majority of the tripwire paths in this game straight up don't work or kill you if you try to use Grow or Garden Top to access them.
There only ever being THREE ITEM CAPSULES on stages when the game allows up to 16 racers.
The COMPLETE ABSENCE of any i-frames.
Explosive hazards forcing you to...
So what's the reason behind the game making it so Top and Grow can bypass tripwires and access tripwire related shortcuts, but about half tripwires in this game straight up don't work or kill you for trying to use those items
Oh sorry. That was rude of me. I appreciate your insight and perspective, and the great thought you put into trying to explain it. I didn't really meant for that to be as a rebuke; I had just finally figured out how to word why instawhip feels wrong to me lol.
Anyway, I simply think items should...
Idk this all still feels kinda nonsense. The instawhip is like if you were in a footrace with someone and they shoved you on the ground the second you got close to them. I think it's just a ridiculous feature for a kart racing game lol.
In the context of battle mode, it does make sense! I agree. In Racing, however, it feels so weird and out of place to me. Like I'm being punished for going faster than someone... in a racing game.
Can someone explain what the purpose of the instawhip is? It feels like the feature exists only to needlessly benefit people in first and punish anyone trying to catch up.
I think this game could do without forcing you to drop items when you take hits from explosives. Correct me if I'm wrong, but I really cannot understand the point of taking away a player's item if they get hit. It just comes off as needlessly cruel and punishing, especially for anyone in last...
Well I understand where you're coming from, but I'd like to remind y'all my original point was that the game should not restrict you from saving the game when you enable cheats. To even unlock cheats, you have to be good at the game. Unlocking cheats proves you're good. Do you see what I'm...
Yea but I wanna beat the game with this character, except I don't wanna beat this specific boss. I'd much rather move past this boss and carry on with the campaign. Surely, you can see my plight.
i just really wanted to use cheats to skip a boss fight cause one of the mod characters i'm using can't fight bosses for shit. So I'm annoyed the game doesn't let you save when using cheats lol
You can't "cheat" at a single player video game. Why is it anyone's concern that people play the game how they want? Especially when you've already beaten the game normally, which you'd be required to do to even unlock the cheats.
