here's that build ig, ik there's a lot of bugs like how i accidentally set the overspeed counter too early so you can run for like 0.5 seconds and go fast immediately and wall jump on invisible walls and slide off of them entirely while still clinging....
yeah, he's REALLY unfinished. but one...
I know I still haven't shown a lot of progress... and well that's because i haven't made any. BUT, it's for good reason, because i'm working on a sonic fangame as well. i have tons of sprites left to finish for striker and bugs to iron out code wise, as well as quality of life improvements...

I'm STILL working on striker, so don't give up hope. I just won't be able to post progress as much, but just know he'll be finished!
Maybe if i'm not busy, i'll try to get more done over Xmas break.

That's doable. I can probably work something out.
The older design has more spikes that are sharper and a rougher appearance, while the newer one and less spikes but they are slightly longer and has a more friendlier approach. So, all I have to do is mix them together.
That sounds easy enough...
oh. welp, i can always redo it. Personally I like it but I only have 2 sprites done for the redesign so I can just scrap it and go for a new one. Any suggestions for a new one (since I may or may not have accidentally overwritten the old one I'm literally so sorry :devastation:
It may have taken long... but I finally came to update Striker's progress!
And with that update, I come to give you another Striker Redesign!!!
His quills have been extended and he lost a few extra of them, as well as a rounder and friendlier design, and he lost his connected eyes to...
I actually had an idea about striker having a buddy. I had a few ideas of what animal, and maybe he (or she) could be a frog? I was also thinking about making a character with roller skates, but I haven't gotten far with that idea.
Also, sorry that I haven't been making much progress with...
i'm no genius, ESPECIALLY when it comes to lua scripting, but for a good start maybe when the player is in the spring state, you can make it to where custom 1 is the button to trick while in said state? you might be able to find a lua script to use as a base in the mb, and expand from there
