this forum doesnt let you reply to the author of a mod so ill put my reply here since this is all i made this account for
No, i didn't make this account to complain, i made it to give a fair warning to people downloading the mod since the page does not have one. and to give options to the creator to accommodate better for photosensitive people. even if your mod is "well known" there should still be a warning for people who dont know, i didn't know. its as simple as adding one line of text on the mod page or when you enable the mod. also, even worse if its in trailers with no warning!
i did miss the options for turning down effects, but that's saying alot because i went out of my way to configure options like the palette in such.
i understand its hard to accommodate for everyone sometimes, thats not what im asking at all actually. but people who are epileptic shouldn't have to worry constantly if a mod will kill them or not, that shit's scary. and in my case im not photosensitive, i have people i care about who are and they have to worry about stuff like this all the time.
im not trying to fight here, im just trying to let you know that not everyone's gonna know what your mod is. they're going to jump to a trailer and get flashed at, or skim through the mod page, hit download, and get flashed at. some responsibility should be taken yeah, if you ignore a very clear warning thats on you. but if you have to dig and do research to find out something flashy, that's not good. you shouldnt have to do that for every mod you download.
