Remember guys, the mod still has to go through the Releases system and be judged, and who knows how many submissions Judges have to go through.
Definitely super hyped though! The years long project has finally borne fruit -- great work to this team
bird mod is built for an older version and isn't compatible with newer ones from what I can understand, you'd probably be better looking into SRB2Kart-Galaxy
I don't think you read the actual post either because that's definitely not an accurate description of SRB2. LOL
Though, I can't say I don't agree the nature of the post is a little pointless
It's finally out, BTW! Highly recommend. And I'll add on GT, it's a pretty popular fangame too.
Here's a somewhat meta question - why are people so quick to judge something before they can really understand it?
Vanilla? It's a hard choice, but probably Stress with Roses and the Week 4 songs being runner-ups.
Modded? Too many options. Saster's stuff is really good! I like Fatality and Game Over. Also a huge fan of all the songs in B3's Bloody Bedtime week. And a lot of others I won't even bother to list :P
I remember a discussion from a while ago about people's different approaches to fixing Metal Sonic, and I can definitely say after messing with these entries that it's nice to see them in action. To echo an earlier statement, all these abilities were very fun in their own right, even when their...
For what you've shown, I can only really echo the "rotate the rest of the body" statement — I like the way he looks there! There are a few other things, though:
Also, for his size: how does he compare to a Sir Lance-a-bot? He seems pretty big, and I think those enemies would be a good size...
This character is insanely fun, and the tutorial's challenge room is just the icing on the cake. It's like Cacee's own Spinfly Alley.
I was sorta following the spriting process but I didn't expect such a fun moveset! Absolutely amazing work on this character
Very little is as nostalgic as being able to play Mill Citadel again. When I was younger, it was probably my go-to map in 2.1, so I'm glad to be able to experience it again. Long live ArchPack!
Between Knuckles and Eggman it's a close contest, but not close enough. Knuckles is my absolute favorite. It's mostly the way his character was written in Adventure — that calm and collected independence and yet, simultaneously, a passionate hot-headedness — that made me like him. The fact that...
DUUUDE, this concept sounds super cool. Love the multiple throws you'd be able to pull off, and a Zangief reference too?
Half-replying to the last comment: I think I can see what you're talking about, but I can't put my finger on it. MotorRoach made a spriting tutorial on which he made a Bark...
The entire Battle system got reworked. This means that while some characters may still have code in their files for Battle, it isn't properly formatted. Also, in order to "fix" this, the creators of the modded characters would have to code in support themselves, which a few of them have already...
