SRB2 v2.2.14 Patch Release

I need some help. My updated installation of v2.2.14 has some issues and Idk if anyone else has them. First of all, the bootup about 2x longer, but more importantly, the resolution is wonky. Upon opening it for the first time after the update, I've found the window to be cropped on the top.

I changed to resolution in settings to fix this, but curiously, making the resolution lower makes the window bigger. Here's the adjusted resolution (from 1280X800 to 640X400) that fits to my computer in full screen, but has blurrier resolution with more distorted sprites in the distance.

Let me know what I should try doing to fix this problem. Thanks!

sorry, but i dont know how to fix this.

I'm not sure if it's something with my computer, but when I try to load map-packs like Sol Sestancia 2 or Silverhorn I'm greeted with a message that says "Srb2 has attempted to open a memory location it shouldn't and has to close". Other people have also had this problem with the OLDC, The Mario Bros, Delta chars, etc, so I'm guessing this isn't just a "me" problem.

Known issue due to the content additions immediately before the 2.2.14 release (after the prereleases). The issue responsible for most of the addon breaks has been fixed.

As a stopgap, you can use a post 2.2.14 build of next from this site https://ci.appveyor.com/project/STJr/srb2/history There is nothing notable other than fixes, so it remains essentially 2.2.14 itself.

SRB2 2.2.14 broke a lot of mods. 06, Mario Bros, StephChars, even my Ashura mod for a bit until I fixed it. I'm not aware of any fixes at the moment. hoi buddy :D

Damn, did this update really bomb this hard?
These recent updates seem to have been really bogging down the game experience, especially on a technical level. 2.2.8 is enough for me, thank you very much.

This update somehow feels rushed. They broke how texture ~255 works. It show's up in game instead of being invisible, Both in software mode and OpenGL. Some mods also crash the game when loading them.

I guess I'll have to leave playing on wait then. This really sucks...I hope Sonic Team Jr. sees this thread

Now that Blazing Precipice Zone has been added, I wonder if it happens to be the replacement for the CTF level of the similar theme, Molten Fissure Zone? However, I would've loved it if Molten Fissure Zone returned while being overhauled to fit with how RVZ1 now happens to be (which would definitely make sense considering that Molten Fissure Zone has always had an outdoor area). Also, considering that there's multiplayer stages from the final demo version that were removed in v2.0, I would've love to see them be overhauled to fit with the aesthetics of version 2.2.
