If it is... BlueBlur's project will have all of the Adventure gameplay covered, and the only thing I can think to do for this release is basically have the SA1 style homing attack and spindash, but the Advance boost mode and maybe the skid attack, even then, he'd feel super watered down compared to Modern and the upcoming Adventure Sonics.

That, and I don't have a programmer yet willing to work with me. This whole thing is super up in the air right now, so I think everyone should curb their enthusiasm.

I was thinking about whether the Sonic advance dash ability is planned (the one you can only use a couple of times)

You could do a moveset inspired by Advance/Adventure games so it can stand out, kinda like what Neo Sonic did. Personally I'd lean closer to Advance because of this design of Sonic and the absurd amount of moveset variations you get in Advance 3.

By the way, I'm sure someone will be interested in programming for this! You just need to ask around. The official SRB2 server (or even the community server if someone wants to slide an invite) might be a good place to start.

LOL! To be honest, there are times where I get worried that I won't be able to make sprites that look good enough for my impossibly high standards, but usually after working on animations for 2-3 days, I get them looking good enough to where I say "okay, I REALLY need to move on now!"

Just putting this here for those who don't follow my regular updates on the [SRB2] Discord server.

Still probably going to do something to the head animation later on, but I need to move on to the 3/4 views to complete his set of running frames.
