sonic's new va better have sonic using some capoeria around here LOL but Higgins as tails seems a little.... meh. we'll see how this turns out.

I'm pretty sure the Tails voice actor is most noticeable for her anime role. Sakura(Naruto) Isn't this a little bit of irony?

I hope that Jaleel White just slipped from your mind and you meant to call him the exception.
But as for Roger his voice is a little iffy at the moment. I expected the voice of Chicken Little's Runt to do a much better Sonic than that. It is sad that he still sounds like Griffith in his Sega official work. However I do not know where it is but there is a clipf from Sonic Unleashed from Mazuri that someone toyed around with that sounded GREAT for Sonic.
I hope to God he doesn't try to sound like Griffith.Higgins on the other hand a demo roll that had a voice that was PERFECT for a ten year old.
Eh, some people like him, some people don't. I grew up with it, so naturally I'm fine with it, but I left him out considering the whole personal bias / nostalgia thing.
Tails I'm not worried about. I just hope Amy gets some respectable treatment from the voice director -- I'd like her to sound less like the annoying bitch that most of the recent games (as well as Sonic X) seem to prefer doing to her character.

I hope this stops the millions of people who criticize the game for the stupidest reasons and stop saying this was Sonic´s worst time. Sonic had his hardest time on the 3D transition (Sonic R, Sonic Fighters, Sonic 3D Blast) and then they came up with Adventure series, I hope the same happens here.

I think he said "franchise changing news" for a good reason. The only damn thing the fans would complain about the most were the voice actors. Seriously, people signed up PETITIONS to replace Jason Griffith with Ryan Drummond in Smash Brothers Brawl. Hopefully the new actors will be "better" than the old ones. I'm sick of people whining about the actors.

Considering how bad a start Roger is having as Sonic, there just might be even ore complaining than ever.
And it is probably because Sega wants him to try and imitate Griffith with his own interpretation of the voice. Which is completely redundant but seems to be the case so far.
Man. I want Jaleel back. He was the best Sonic hands down.

I hated that voice, so high and squeeky. It fits Steeve Urkel, not Sonic.
I don't get why everyone thought Jaleel was that good. IMO, Ryan Drummond in SA2 was the best. Griffith was AWFUL in the anime and ShtH. I hope the new guy does good because I wanna preorder Colors so I can get the hat :). I wish they would bring back some old SA-SH VAs. David Humphrey did the best as Shadow, while Griffith made him sound like some evil freak who wants to destroy everything. Tails voiced by an actual kid was good, and Knux had a good VA before Sonic X. Dan Green sounded really rough like he was always screaming while his old one sounded calm and cool. :s

Tails being voiced by an actual prepubescent male child was good.
Said child having pretty much no enthusiasm whatsoever while voicing Tails was bad.
He sounded bored throughout Sonic Adventure 1 and 2 and he was incredibly annoying in Heroes.
I didn't like Jaleel as Sonic's VA. His voice is too high-pitched and squeaky to fit in with his personality. Maybe back then, when the character was light-hearted enough that it worked; but if they switched to him now, even if he did accept the role, the voice would not suit his personality anymore.

I actually think Jaleel did a good sonic voice, but thats my opinion.
As for Craig robert smith, he seems like hes going to be an okay sonic VA, I mean at least hes trying. Also Kate Higgins, I think she has a shot at being tails.
