Vodka joins the race as my next character from Umamusume: Pretty Derby!
Being a late surger, she specializes in good acceleration and handling.
You may notice she looks a bit different compared to my previous mod, Gold Ship, or not, because you don't keep up with extremely niche racing game mod creators. Either way, I changed a lot about my workflow to make this mod as simple as possible to sprite, which meant reworking the proportions to be less realistic and more stylish. At some point, I may return to Golshi and redo her sprites, but for now, Vodka does support her as a rival, if you have her.
She features a full set of voice lines by Ayaka Ohashi from the game, as well as my first custom color, Mulberry! It was fun figuring out how to make one, but I'll probably stick with base-game colors in the future for the sake of convenience.
If I make more horses in the future, it'll likely be either Daiwa Scarlet or Hishi Akebono, but that probably won't be for a while. Every time I do one of these, I forget how dang long they take!
