Behold! Tanuki Pack!
A selection of Ring Racer maps that are made on a pretty simple whim.

Featuring the Following Tracks!
FLYCUP.png

Fly Cup is currently UNIMPLEMENTED. Anything related to Fly Cup can currently be found in Lost and Found with Standalone Maps.

GBA Luigi Circuit
(RACE)
GBALC.png

A classic raceway given the Ring Racers paint job, while still keeping it's original vibe. Speed along in a rain shower while taking hairpin turns like a champ!!

POCKETCUP.png

A mini cup that focuses on the idea of MEGA tracks.

MEGA Aurora Hill (Race)
MAURHL.png

A snowy hill that is always in view of the Northern Lights. A sight to behold as racers drive along the specialized kart track built for tight and exciting races.

MEGA Haunted Heights (Race)
MHAUHT.png

Coming in from SRB2 is this classic Bonus Level made into a harrowing race track. Beware the water skimming shortcut and the elevated platforms, or you may end up as one of the various graves found along the track!

MEGA Storm Sanctum (Battle)
MSTOSA.png

When Angel Island drifts deep into a thunderstorm, this strange altar Appears in Sky Sanctuary. What does it mean? Well, if anything, it's a pretty sick place to throw Jawz at each other on!

MEGA Null Space
MNULSP.png

To round out this miniture cup, the strange space that exists when the power of the Phantom Ruby is used presents itself. How it manifests is unknown, but it seems harmless outside of the risk of falling into the void below... Can you claim victory in this desolate place?

STANDALONE.png

Maps with no plans to be part of any cup. Obviously located in the Lost and Found.

Sealed Circuit (Race)
SEACIR.png

Somewhere in that locked sky is a strange circuit that seems disconnected from everything. Works as a wacky bonus track!

Sealed Vault (Battle)
SEAVAL.png

A strange Vault that was found in that locked sky. The fountain at the center endlessly spews out coins that flow into the void. Careful to not get swept away yourself!

This pack mostly features straight-forward little races and a fair amount of prison/battle maps to sink your teeth into. Nothing too complicated, but you can also tell it isn't really phoned in, despite how small some of the maps are they each have their own identity and that's great. The Prison placements in the battle maps are also fairly engaging, for the most part.

That being said, the pack has taken a bit of a hit after the 2.4 tune-ups. The checkpoint placement is utterly abysmal. Considering the vanilla Mega levels only have either one or zero checkpoints, it's jarring for this pack's to feature an insane 3 to 4 checkpoints per lap, some of them completely nonsensical. Mega Null Space's first checkpoint is literally not even three seconds after the starting line and Mega Aurora Hill's last checkpoint is only three seconds or so before the finish line. I'd recommend studying the vanilla maps and their checkpoint placements a little more closely, if you can reach the first checkpoint with the first blood boost still active or just coming off of it, you've got a pretty big balance problem on your hands.
