SRB2: The Knights Trial

SRB2: The Knights Trial 1.0

It's a good attempt for your first try. I liked the emeralds being spread around the stages. However, one thing you can improve on is making the stages wide. So both small and big characters can have space to move.

When making boss arenas, again make it wider since even the boss can struggle on small maps.

Hi and hello, how you be? So I was scrolling through the mb and found this mod, played the levels. All in all, it's not really good if I'm being honest, but I can definitely tell you're new to mapping. As someone who's also a mapper, all in all I just want to give you a bit of feedback all in all, to help on your process of learning mapping and etc. First of all, I definitely want to add that the maps right now are definitely too cramped, definitely make the scale of your levels bigger. Second, I think that you really need to first just try and learn more about mapping techniques. There is a lot of cool stuff you can do with stuff like linedef executors, moving platforms and more (I think I also didn't see a FOF in any of the levels so if you haven't, please learn how to make one, they're really important). Third, I think visuals and such can be improved but you don't need to worry about this now, the first few points are the most important. And maybe do multiple paths? But maybe not so early, don't worry about that too much either.
All in all, it's not abysmal or anything, it's not like I wanted to quit playing or whatever, but, I do think that you still need to learn a bit before you start making full maps. Just experiment around! Don't try and make multiple stages so early, for now, just try and focus on single stages, instead of approaching something larger. There's a lot of stuff in the SRB2 wiki, and if you haven't already, watch all of Sev's tutorials! They all have something important. I think you'll be fine though, everyone has their first maps, including myself lol. Just want to make sure you don't fall in any traps on your mapping journey. Keep working on it 👍.

Thanks, but I already started watching tutorials from Sev when I started making levels, I don't know about FOF yet, but I'll try in the future, and thanks anyway
