Pretty short level pack I made, takes around 20 minutes to clear. There's not really any story, it's just the stages and some bonus multiplayer stuff in there.

Oh yea, if for some reason you're on the history tab, 1.0.2 and 1.0.3 are impossible due to the wrong Brak fight being in there. I won't remove them for archival purposes, but if you decide to play older versions, keep that in mind.

The levels here are way too short and don’t really have much going on in terms of major mechanics or set pieces. The lone exception is Orbital Overspace, which at least tasks you with some more perilous jumps and movement. It’s cute for a single playthrough, but not much else. At least it isn’t cheap and doesn’t waste your time.

Also, 2.0 Brak sucks. His attacks go on forever and hitting him in Phase 2 without Tails is a drag. He’s just not fun to fight.

Thanks for the review, I haven't played Sonic.exe so I don't know how short that means, but I'll guess it's really short.

As Zipper said, this pack quickly starts to suffer due to the levels. They are *depressingly bland* I had to stop at Sizzling Sector 1 due to it--honestly--being incredibly boring. The previous levels are empty and flat, mostly consisting of platforms, liquid threats, and pits. I'm sorry if this review comes off as a bit harsh, and I know you're probably a budding creator, but this pack really needs some more love.

A cute map pack! It was short and sweet, which is good, doesn't waste the player's time.

For the levels, I'll give some general advice, since they all seem to be suffering from the same issues.

-Artificial levels (factories, space ship etc.) don't have to be made up of only squares. You can get plenty of mileage out of other geometric shapes when designing in Zone Builder, like quarter circles, polygons and more. Also, don't be afraid to use slopes even if it's not grasslands.

-Encourage the player to go higher/lower. The first level actually does try it with springs, but every other level is essentially "jump from A to B".

-You can probably double the size of the first half of the maps, they're very tiny. 1.09's level sizes don't mesh well with current design expectations or player physics.

-Levels need something interesting to do. This is pretty open ended, you can do whatever you want. Just add anything besides jumping.

That being said, I hope you continue to polish this pack, or improve on your future levels in general!

Thanks for reviewing! I will keep your advice in mind for future levels. I didn't do a lot of slopes because they're very annoying to me, in fact I don't even know how to do vertex slopes, I try and get a new weird distortion every attempt. A lot of the levels are "ok i ran out of ideas AGAIN ima just do this, ok platform here platform there", you'll notice this the most on LBZ, so those are the main ones I plan on redoing. I didn't personally feel like the first half of levels were small while I was testing, but that's because I play with weird camera settings. I tested recently on the Android version, where by default the camera is farther back, to see if some of the more parkour based levels were even remotely possible on a touchscreen (they're not), and I did notice the "cramped" thing you mentioned. If you actually bothered to read this block of text, Thank you!

Thanks for the Review, and I do plan on adding more stages in the future.

I just don't like this stage.

Whether it's for the weird level design mostly based on platforming, the boss stages, the fact that Brak 2.0 is used for the core, I simply don't enjoy it.

This is a fair review, and 2.0 Brak is used because I thought that 2.1+ Brak was too easy and I don't know how to make custom bosses. Thanks for taking the time to play through it though! And sorry if this sounds like I'm trying to make you think you're insane.
