Dyna Brothers is a pair of real-time strategy games released for the Sega Mega Drive exclusively in Japan. In the games, various dinosaur tribes must be commanded in order to fend off aliens that have invaded the dinosaur home planet of Jura. Now, after having receieved invitations to join Ring Racers, the dinosaurs are stepping off the battlefield...and into the driver's seat!
This pack will be gradually updated with additional content, with 6 racers and a handful of followers planned.
PI-CHAN (SPEED: 9. WEIGHT: 4. CLASS: F.)
An oviraptor with a love for eating eggs. He can't fight all too well, so his main method of attack when confronted is to...insult his opponent. Quick on his feet and in a kart, he excels at using his speed to escape potential dangerous enemies. Or maybe he's just trying to find eggs quickly. Who knows.
ALLO (SPEED: 8. WEIGHT: 3. CLASS: C.)
This allosaurus is an intercepting carnivore who prefers to watch over a designated area, chasing down any enemies that come near with surprising speed. Too bad he's not too smart, sometimes losing sight of his targets. That speed translates into Ring Racers, allowing him to easily chase after anyone ahead of him. That face he makes when someone is approaching from behind shows his rather reckless side.
STEGO (SPEED: 1. WEIGHT: 7. CLASS: G.)
A good-natured herbivore with a vital role in the battle against the aliens, as when he eats grass, he generates power points needed for issuing commands. He's a terrible fighter who can't stick up for himself, so he's quite cowardly. Also has a tendency to reproduce at an alarming rate. It's said that he was the most reluctant to join Ring Racers, if his expression is anything to go by.
THE EGG
The guardian of Planet Jura. The Egg is what the player commands during battle against the aliens. It has many powers, including spawning dinosaur eggs, sending various strategy commands to the dinosaurs, and even calling upon Mother Nature to cause rain, floods, and even meteor strikes. With The Egg by their side, the dinosaurs will surely get that confidence boost they need to attain victory on the racetrack!
UFO
The preferred base for the invading alien forces. Much like The Egg, it can produce eggs, only in this case, they hatch into aliens. This follower is merely a replica of the real thing, so it shouldn't be a threat to the dinosaurs. ...Maybe.
GUIDE COMMAND
The icon that represents the guidance command. At the cost of power points, it is possible to directly control a dinosaur's movements and actions. Want them to retreat? Want to guide them to a specific area? Want to battle a specific target? You can do that. Or you could send them to a watery or fiery death if you're feeling especially cruel. But you would never do that. ...Right?
EGG GENERATOR
In his attempts to conquer Planet Jura, the Professor created this device. It has the generic data of his subordinates recorded into it, allowing it to create eggs that will hatch into them. An egg generator will not stop producing eggs unless the entire enemy population in the area is defeated, thus destorying the egg generator.
