Dispatch is a Blender texturing tool for Ring Racers. Use Blender's shader nodes to create palettized tiling textures.

Because Blender's color-handling is strange, output files approximately, but not exactly, fit the Ring Racers palette. For best results, use a tool like Aseprite (Sprite > Color Mode) to finalize your texture's colors.

Instructions
  1. Switch to Rendered view mode in the 3D view.
  2. Input your desired texture resolution into the Size node.
  3. The pixelize node group outputs appropriate texture coordinates. The noise-wrap node group outputs Vector and W values that allow noise texture nodes to tile seamlessly.
  4. Create your texture, and output its color into the rr_palette_convert node.
  5. Bake and save the texture to an output file.
Blender shader nodes output a mossy pixelated stone texture.

In-game textures have grit and interesting colors. This locale is a jetty with a wooden dam, bright ocean water, and a big sheet metal roof.
