This time I've worked with another Karter (PlatterTheFinch) to bring you another utility mod!
So today, I got a new controller: an 8Bitdo M30 2.4g wireless MD/Saturn pad. However, after trying the controller on Dr Eggman's Ring Racers via the dongle, I found out that it didn't work. Turns out you're only meant to use the dongle on a Mega Drive Mini... or are you?
So I reached out to the KKD Discord, and Platter was there. He sent me several gamecontrollerDB files, and after a few tries, we got a working profile. So he and I have decided to upload this to the BBS for anyone else out there with this pad. Note that this only works with the 2.4GHz variant of the M30, in wireless mode (not wired), and NOT the Bluetooth variant.
To install this, just copy the TXT file to your DERR directory and restart. You should probably back up your current GCDB file first just in case any issues arise with other pads.
