I'll Begin said:What really baffles me is that Next Gen Sonic is basically a bunch of previous mistakes mixed into one game. Over-use of rails, rainbow rings, guns, new characters, Sonic X voices, over-use of voices, slow characters, multiple versions of the same level (I think) and most of all, BECOMING A THIRD PARTY DEVELOPER! Sonic was great when Sega was alone, and they're ruining the franchise.

Are we... are we talking about the same Sonic Next?
I remember thinking about this and thinking of this making it better than adventure.(wrong) I liked the order of action action action boss stages. I still like heroes since it was my first sonic game, and I am more used to the 3d gameplay.Draykon said:OMGDRAYKON'SGONNA SAY GOOD THINGS ABOUT HEROES!!!!!111
Yes, Heroes isn't all bad. It was a step in the right direction, just executed wrong. You'll notice they finally got the brains to use some older stuff. I myself love the return of the Special Stages. I can see where they got the idea for the Team system, it was a poor idea though. But worth a shot. Reintroducing Team Chaotix was good and bad in some senses. Of course, cutting down the story so much was a pretty bad idea. But they were trying to make it more like the classics overall. They just failed miserably.

I feel so sorry for you. My first sonic game was Sonic 3 and Knuckles for the PC.
Which is why I have Mega Collection.BlueZero4 said:I didn't have a Genesis. I actually feel better playing games on the arrow keys than any other method. The Genesis uses a pad. On the arrow keys, you don't have to lift up on the pad then press down then forwards again to roll. You just press down because you use multiple fingers.
Grand Metropolis and Casino Park and the last level with Dark has the best music and the best levels.FoxBlitzz said:Hmm, my first Sonic game was Sonic CD. Gave me an incredible experience back when I was only 6.
And Sonic Heroes' soundtrack isn't all bad. I'll agree, the main theme song isn't very good, but I enjoyed the songs for Grand Metropolis and Casino Park.
You used the wrong spelling, there. Disk refers to magnetic media like Hard Disks or Floppy Disks (no rude typos ^_^). Disc refers to laser media like CDs and DVDs.Someman said:Team Chaotix's missions are nightmares in the disk.

God DAMN yes we are. That thing's an absolute festering, bloated, convoluted, rushed, terribly designed, stinking ball sac of utter fail. There are a few things that looked like they'd have been great, given the chance, like...Omega the Hedgehog said:Are we... are we talking about the same Sonic Next?I'll Begin said:What really baffles me is that Next Gen Sonic is basically a bunch of previous mistakes mixed into one game.
