ALL of Sonic 1 was slow. Personally, I'd say that only Starlight Zone had some level design that Sonic could actually speed through, with some exceptions of portions of Green Hill Zone.

Good news everyone  ! SS64 is almost ready for it's forth public beta. The beta will include things like new robots, red coins to collect (thank BZ4 for this :) ), the old pyramid level is being thrown out and being replaced with a newer, better pyramid level, if we can wokrm fast enough there will be unlockables for completeing things (Level Select, Bonus Levels, etc.), some of the levels will be tremendously opened up and made to be more non-linear (mostly GVZ), at least three new levels will be added, and much, much more!

Wait for me to finish "Escape from Green Valey Zone" plz.

Blue fixed my doombuilder so that I can use it properly.

Bah, don't even have a final boss yet. >_>

Oh, and good to see you back around. The last post you made here was on the first page.

No, I haven't. I have ideas, just haven't gotten them done. I could work on it, but it wouldn't be ready for beta 4. Because I almost have my maps ready, I don't think I will.

However, I could try to get them in for beta 5. Of course, how I would work the castle means I have to do all the compiling, but....

And if you want to help, it will probably be just decorating the sections that represent your level.

I'm only saying this because you may have some CCM textures that replace redwall.

So wait, are we still including CCM?

No and Yes.
There are CCM textures, but they have been fixed so REDWALL is no replaced. And yes, it still is being included.

You should not replace floors since its 10x easier than inserting your own textures which I finally figure out how to do now :D Yay me. *claps
