Just wait 'till beta 4. After some changes to levels are made, sprites are done, and SOCs are added beta 4 will probably be released. (Although, you'll have to ask Nova for sure).

That's Nitro's Knux. We are merely working with the sprites already made. Take it up with him.

When we get the Knux in 1.1, we can always update the sprites. Assuming that this project is alive by then, of course.

I'm pretty sure that it will. I've gotten some more work done. I've added the new levels. All I need now is to finish the running. How are work on the secret stage with princess ____ and the castle level going? Nova should almost be done the ____ sprites.
 
The outside the castle level should be scrapped immediately. The inside the castle level should be merged with the wad I'm always sending you guys.

The switch level for *ominous gasp* isn't done, for the majority because I haven't found any good resources for some of the finiky items.

Also, I've figured out how to support race now, so I really need to rig the stage numbers now. I'll be sure to tell you what I need as soon as I've finished my maps.

And yes, the mod will probably still be remembered by many when 1.1 comes out, but the question is whether it's still being worked on or not.

So, um, these are screens that are from the most recent staff beta. It should've been public exept for the title screen. (See first image.) The progect seems to have slowed, so I desided to take some screens to benifit the first post.
 
As long as we're here, I happen to have some level designer screens that are spectacular compared to what we've seen lately.

While the first one is pretty much a staff exclusive, the last two haven't even left my hard drive.


Also, the freakishly short lava level got finished a while ago, but I never really put up any public screens for it.

Shouldn't Robotnik's ship be replaced with Bowser's propeller ship from super mario world? surely for this game that would make more sense. Its the exact same thing, Bowser hangs out the side and everything, also the charge move that Robotnik does in srb2 after you hit him 6 times is practically the same thing bowser does in the propeller ship in the final battle of super mario world.

Infact not only that but the bounce move that Robotnik does after 6 hits in techno hill zone 3 is a move that bowser does in the propeller ship in the final battle of super mario world as well. If you just replace the sprites of robotnik's ship with bowser propeller ship you can create an exact replica of the final boss bowser from super mario world with the exact right moves without much effort at all. Also you could keep robotnik's lazers or add whatever you were already planning to add.

Also: What do all these new levels have to do with Super Mario 64? And what the heck is "Stuff Mart"? (Somehow it rings a bell...)
