I got a good idea, could add the model in the wad with the current wizard textures, and when go on OpenGL with GR_MD2 ON, activate the md2 model

How do I do that?

Yes, but you cant type an UNDERSCORE (this "_") in the in-game console.

Or am I doing something wrong?
ZOMGURDOINITWRONG.

Yeah. You can use underscores. Dunno why you can't.

Try using a script.

GAH! (Namo's darkside laughs at Namo's lightside for being an idiot and gets shot)

You'll have to forgive me, I am way new at MD2 stuff.

Explain this... "script"... of which you speak.

There was something that still confused me.

How do I put the knuckles/tails model in Srb2?

Wouldn't it replace the Sonic model?

If you put the player file in the folder...wouldn't it replace it? How do I put them all in.

And the sonic skins, is it possible to put them all at once so I can switch to any of them during gameplay?

Does anyone know what to type in the console to put an MD2 WAD into the game

Make a new .txt file in the srb2win directory.
Put this in the text file you made.
Code:
bind 1 "gr_md2 on"

Save as Script.txt for now

Open srb2win and type
Code:
exec script.txt

Press the 1 key and it should work. It does for me.

It would be easier to type in the command directly or put the script inside autoexec.cfg :/

Seems I was overlooked.

Can I get step-by-step instructions on what to do because all these instructions aren't in order so it is messing me up. I just need to know what to do and what to write and how to write it.
And how do you change the skins for the MD2 sonic?

Do md2's only work in version 1.09.3? If they do then can you set up a link so I can get it. I only have version 1.09.4. :(

Please have some common sense.

Why would it only work on 1.09.3, the earlier version of Srb2?

Just open up MD2.DAT with notepad and type the necessary codes. Put the MD2 files in the MD2 folder and start up SRB2 in opengl mode. Type GR_MD2 1 on the console and it'll work.

If it doesn't, you either:

1. Messed up somewhere.
2. Didn't do it.

On another note,

"There was something that still confused me.

How do I activate OpenGL mode? I have it but I don't know how.

EDIT: It got deleted somehow. Can someone post a link for a better one?

You know, a link to the wikipedia for SRB2 doesn't really help, and that's what everybody seems to do.

Just tell him how to use OGL, it isn't that hard to type instructions.
