I wanted to give him a spin jump because I wanted something other than the generic Mario jump pose. BTW this is the only wad (to my knowing) that has Mario spin jumping. Deal with it.
 
Y'know, I made something like this. I actually did. It was screwed-up, but I had lost it a long time ago. It used the SMW sprites.

I do too... its not what you'd call "Mario".
You could make his spinning a hammer, and make him jump regularly THEN he'd be mario.
 
Does Amy jump in a ball in SRB2? Check that and then come back and tell me if Mario does the same.

Seriously, if Amy can't jump in a ball in SRB2, then Mario bloody can't. And if he's SRB2 Mario, why the heck isn't he SRB2 styled?

I didn't do it to not get caught. The admins can figure out that I did that just by reading posts. I did it so as to correct a mistake.
 
Bugg off, I'll make my avatar what I want it to be. *sticks tongue out* Anyway, why is everyone so freaking out about the spin jump?
