I'm not so sure about that. I recall hearing that coronas lag netgames a bit. Unless you've already tried with tons of Super Sonic bots.

And coronas sound like something that every n00b will add to their wads. Although superpowered recolors aren't allowed here anymore, we might still see them in netgames.

A new boss: Egg Buggy.

Basically, Eggman sits in his Eggmobile attached to a frame with four small tank treads replacing the wheels. The treads have spikes on them, and getting hit by the spikes will cause you to lose your Rings. The Egg Buggy will chase after you, stopping to fire missiles. When it gets down to the last two hits, Eggman will start firing turret bullets instead of missiles for 35 tics at a time.
The boss is segmented, meaning running into the treads will hurt you, hitting the Eggmobile will cause Eggman to take damage, and you will be stopped by the frame.

Flagging the boss as "Deaf" will cause the boss to follow a NiGHTS path rather than having free motion. The Eggmobile will rotate in its holding clamps regardless of where the buggy is aimed. Each time you hit it, it will speed up for about three seconds, and it will not stop to fire at you. When there are two hits left, it will stop following the NiGHTS path and go into the Pinch Mode mentioned above.
When you hit Eggman for the last time, he will fly up and the buggy will explode sort of like the Emerald Hill boss, but the treads explode too.

Placing this boss will require 6 Things. Buggy Frame, Tread 1, Tread 2, Tread 3, Tread 4, and Buggy Eggmobile. Tagging the treads to Deaf will remove the spikes and you will be able to stand on them. The boss will autodestruct if any piece is missing.
This boss is able to climb stairs if the ratio is 3 fracunits of stair length or more to 1 fracunit of stair height. Alternate ratios like 6:2 and 9:3 work as well, but the boss won't be able to climb more than 16 fracunits per stair.

Yes, this boss is complicated, but it'd be really cool to see.

If we got parallax, it'd also be nice to be able to display sprites in the background or something, so you could have details like the towers in the background of the first stage of Ristar's planet Sonata which span across several parallax layers without disrupting anything.

Christmas mode settings for levels.

Such as:

XMASMUSIC = XYZ
XMASWEATHER = XYZ
XMASTHINGSET
Thing type XYZ = Thing type ABC

And special Christmas linedef type that changes textures during Christmas mode.

A linedef executor that triggers only once, but for each player. Unlike the one that says, "All Players", everybody will have to be on the same sector in order to trigger it. But if it's for each player, one can activate it once, yet someone else can come along and trigger it again for himself/herself.

Also, to avoid nameless servers, the minimum characters (letters/numbers) that can be on the server name should be either 3 or 4.

Me in IRC said:
<Flame_the_hedgehog> There should be something which makes it so if you have the gravity higher than some specific ammount, you die.

It would be fun to see players get crushed under thier own weight.
It would also be good because n00bs wouldn't want to turn the gravity so high in netgames.

We need a character wad value to set which music playes whaen a character turns super.

Another value that would be usefull: allwase roll the direction the character is facing. It would also make SA-mode feel more like sonic adventure.

You know that Chatoix-style monitor where you drop only one ring instead of spilling all of them, and when you pick up that ring, your count goes back? That would be nice.

Keep people from naming themselves anything sonic.

If they had sonic in their name, disable lightdash, multi ability, ringslingar, homing, and run on water, even if they are using a wad with those features. (Ex: SMS)

In, "You're trying to say you like Sonic Heroes better than this, right?",
change "Sonic Heroes" to "Sonic 06". (Or Honic Heroes. *shot*)

Instead of having the TAB screen for team match show the teams and not the players, why don't you just use different text alignments for different teams, making the TAB screen into a chart? (IE Sonic team to the left side and Knuckles team the to right)

This is something rather trivial, but it'd be neat to have in 1.1.

You know how when you chat, SRB2 prints everything in caps? It's impossible to realise that in the game itself since there's only one case (which, ironically, is caps), but when you open up the log file SRB2 outputs it looks like everybody is screaming.

It'd be neat to have SRB2 decapitalise every character from the second further until a punctuation mark (full stop, exclamation mark, question mark) after which it'd capitalise another single letter, etc. etc. This would fake proper capitalization, albeit in simple sentences only, but it would be better than nothing.

While it's something trivial, it's something that's always bothered me about SRB2, and I can't see how it would be too hard to implement. Maybe some of the amateur coders (read: Shuffle) could waste their time and get it working in 1.1? No? :)

Support srb2win.exe "file.wad" notation in the command line, as if "-file" was implied if a valid file is given as the first argument. This way, one could right-click a WAD file in Windows Explorer, select "Open With..." in the context menu, and then choose srb2win.exe so the wadfile gets loaded up in SRB2.

Much like the "noSSmusic" map header value we already have, map header values that correspond to running shoes, invincibility, and even 1-ups as well (assuming that we're still using music for 1-ups in 1.1, which isn't likely).

And while we're on the subject of music, perhaps a map header option as to whether the running shoes music itself plays or just speeds up the music already playing in the level. (Again, that's assuming the sped up music idea is in 1.1, but...)

It would be nice if the ULTIMATE CHEAT actually did something, and to be able to have the camera at a better angle, for times when your player is in an inclosed space, the camer spazzes out!
