I think it only works on the old one, for the moment

What I'm trying to say is that it says that I need SRB2.srb AND SRB2.wad.

Lie. Srb2.wad is real, it is srb2.srb. If srb2.srb isn't found, srb2.wad is used. You can also have both in your folder, but that increases the fil size quite some bit so...

You know what I mean. But the file is calles srb2.srb, not srb2.wad. I know that it is being developed as srb2.wad and being renamed for releases and I also know that the game accepts both ending for the file. But it does NOT require both. since they are the same.
