Yes it is weird to love a VG or TV (Hey! Two acronyms in a row!) character. Sure some are hot, but to LOVE them? I don't see a point in it. If I were to go up to one of my friends (This is an example, not real life) and say "Man do I love <VG/TV char>..." they would instantly kick my ass. You don't get anything out of it. If the WERE real:

they'd never go out with me.

I think that it is weird until you realize the character isn't real and that she can't you know like you back. There is only one way she can be real and that is virtual reality.
