Its an old mod of Sonic robo blast 2 that puts mecha sonic in the game, unfortunately i dont think you can download it anymore, the link that i found does not work but its still cool

The sprites are unfinished. That’s it. It’s getting a resprite pretty soon and the gameplay is what you’re looking for. The exact one your looking for is probably an older version of the mod
