The back sprite looks like it uses the head of the Srb2 shadow and the spines (on his back) look WAY to large

Awesome! By the way, the bored frames can be him crossing his arms, or maybe if you're up to it, him flipping an emerald like in SA2 when he first uses Chaos Control. [advice]Just make those spikes in the back sprite a little smaller[advice/]

I do plan on that. And Sonic would be kind of easy since I have my own shadow.
