Because the crap on modern Nick / Cartoon Network / Disney isn't written very well.

This show IS written well.

So, in the rumoured episode, it reveals that the Elements of Harmony truly are just 6 Chaos Emeralds used to save the day when all else fails.

Cool. I'm pretty cool with that I guess.
 
I'm like really excited right now. My hype meter went through the roof in an instant and I have no idea why.

This is going to be awesome.
 
I'm going to say it:
if that is Discord on Equestria Daily, that looks definitely awesome.
This season looks exciting. I don't know why I like this show, I guess it's just funny in a normal way, not a seriously random way.

Ah well, they'll probably just create something along those lines of madness, which would be just as good.
 
There's a big sign at the top of Equestria daily, reading...

"Season 2 CONFIRMED for September 17th!"

Don't know if that's still subject to change but it's starting to seem pretty likely.
