    Hmm, didn't try an FOF for it. I was using one as a roof for the base, then trying to hang flags on the edges with a single linedef that only had a top texture, but it just tiled it over the whole linedef instead.

    Ahhh ok. Never thought of that, lol Do the other light effects work ok? The base sectors are on a raised area of the map that isn't immediately obvious to spot if you're under attack and haven't played the map before, so I wanted to give it some sort of flashing light effect to draw attention...

    Don't think so. I'm using Doombuilder, and I set the Linedef effect to give the sector a pulsating light effect, and set the sector effect as red/blue team base. Used a light texture from THZ. Red one for the red base, blue one for the blue base. Don't see any other settings that would...

    Would it be possible to alter the boss and it's attacks so it could be like a weird evil version of one of the characters that could attack you by spindashing at you or throwing fireballs or something? Or would the AI for that be too complex? I get some wild ideas sometimes! :twisted:

    Yeah, thanks for the tip :) I think I've figured out the trick with them now, still get some odd bugs here and there, but I'm getting the hang of it now. The Wad Author tutorial is still useful. Just a case of figuring out how to do the same tricks in Doombuilder. If I get everything...
