But chances are the 3DS game won't even be as close as the 360/PS3 game.
With 3D, the frame rate drops like crazy. I remember several games playing much worse with 3D on.Getting with the 3D stuff, the PS3 also has a 3D feature (For games AND videos), wich rarely anyone knows about, it'd be a freaking nice touch if this game was on 3D aswell, running trough the hills and getting the whole effect from the speed, simply amazing.
Also, if it's not coming for Wii, it is definetley NOT coming for 3Ds.

Lets see if they can even get Generations to run smoothly first. Sonic Unleashed PS3 was choppy and I don't even know how it would run with 3D on. :/
The PS3 version wasn't locked at 60FPS. Which meant it dipped up and down a lot.Compared to the Xbox 360, the PS3 ran at 60 FPS while the 360 ran at 30FPS. How could that make the PS3 version run choppy?
I'm just hoping for Flying Battery, Lost World, and... Now that you say it, D00D64, Hang Castle too. That was actually a really cool level, wasn't it? I should go play through Sonic Heroes again. Perhaps nostalgia has clouded my reason, but now that I look back, Sonic Heroes was actually fairly fun game.
New video shows more pathways and the like in Modern Sonic's Green Hill. Probably a classic one up at gametrailers too, but I don't know if that's been youtube-ified yet.

EDIT: Here's the classic one on gametrailers.

My money Sega. Take all of it.
I hope they remake the Sonic Heroes final boss in some way.
