It also depends on the speed of the homing thok as well, however. In the Sonic Adventure games, it's not really a speed boost, whereas a lot of character wads treat the speed the same as normal thok.
 
Well, adventure mode's camera just kinda sucked in general, but I don't remember having any problem thokking with the normal camera.
 
Yeah, I'm probably not going to add adventure mode, unless if I could get around the screwy camera and like update the homing and lightdash features.

About sth360re progress will stop for a little bit. I'm kind of having little problems with my social life. Got lay off the computer for a little while. No, I'm not going on a break like a few weeks ago. Just focusing on life a little more. Though some progress will be made when I get back.
 
News:

Okay, so like I've been making alot of progress in my away time. I finished Soleanna Castle Town's Dusty Desert Hub, and all that's left is the required mission level, "Mission 1" which I'm halfway done with and a few more people scenery. There probably won't be cutscenes in the upcoming beta. I was going to draw crappy artworks in MSpaint for cutcenes as placeholders, but I've been keeping this wad for too long and needs to be released, so I can finally get critism on my work, but unless you want me to work on the cutscenes...

I should finish the beta this week or, next week. So keep heads up! Though, it's a little buggy and I can't find a way to fix them.

Good news everyone! I just got further in my progress in the mission level. I should be done with in a couple of more days. Though, since I'm coding from srb2 2.0.1's source code, the level is kind of buggy. It has few glitches ATM, but I've managed to kill most of the bugs. I'll release some screens later. The place is kind of a ghost town currently, but soon I should soc the people as scenery and place them for in area's for activity.

I wish I could find SFX of people cheering. You know... "WHOO!", "GO!", "YAY!". Similar to these words. If anyone could find cheering sounds, please send them to me, and I'll make sure to credit you.

About the people, you might have noticed, but as placeholder's they'll only have one frame in the upcoming beta. I'm still thinking if I should do some cutscenes for the upcoming beta as well. I have been offered options at the WADbase forums. Speaking of which. Those on WADbase, I apologize for not replying to your messages. Apparently, my Internet Explorer Browser is screwed up and won't let me log into my profile. I also thank you for your suggestions. Anyway, keep supporting the STH360RE development!! Again, a beta should be out in a couple of more days. Screens coming along soon as well. Probably tomorrow or the day after.
 
Ugh, sorry for the double posting. No one's not posting anything on here. I had to post as an urgent notice. I have terrible news. For some ridiculously stupid reason my computer is not letting me log into my account. (When I get to the logging in screen it's just black. It does absolutely nothing.) Listen guys. If I'm not able to get sth360re back, I'm seriously going to have to cancel the mod. It was too much freakin work and I really don't want to do it ALL over again. I think the last back up file I had was the secretly released beta of sth360re. Unless I get more help (which I kind of doubt I'll get) Yeah, it'll have to cancel. But I'm not sure if this problem is fixible without having to reset the whole computer. I'll edit this post for updating news.
 
What OS are you using?

Edit: If you're using Windows, use the whole C:\Documents and Settings (Users for Vista, not sure about 7 though) and you can access it from another account. This works wth XP.

If Mac (don't know how) but you can use the Apple-K (Connect to Server) to connect to another account on the server, in this place, a computer

Okay. I'm in my account, but though it's acing really, REALLY slow.

you could make a backup of the mod in the current state, and simply saving it in a CD or pendrive, and re-install your operational system after this you can simply continue your work.
 
I think you should run a virus scan. If you find one i suggest using system restore depending on what virus you might have.
 
Yeah, I guess my only choice is try saving it to a CD because for some reason it won't let me on internet. I'm going to have to restart my whole computer.
 
Yes, but problem is it won't let me move my files anywhere. Like I hold the file and try to move it places but it stays it's absolute spot.
 
Try using MS-DOS. Trust me, our Vista got screwed up but we could still access the files. We just needed to use Safe Mode in conjuction with MS-DOS. YOu should be able to copy from there.
 
It's not working. It won't let me move my files anywhere, but the recycle bin. I've tried various ways of moving the files; click, hold, and move. folder options-> move file. copy/paste... none work.

So, I can't figure out a way to get it back. it won't allow me to prevail on this mod on my computer. If only I recently made a backup file for my self. I was so busy, I forgot to spare the files, knowing that sometimes my computer gets viruses, due to that i don't have an anti-virus program installed into my computer. Well, I do, but I never mind it for some reason.

So, I guess this topic will have to become dead for a while. No, I don't want it locked. Though I love this mod so much I still want to continue it and try to get some reviews, comments, critism, and videos on it, but I probably won't make progress for it for some time. It's kind of boring mapping the same thing twice, so I'll map probably 3 days out of the week. So uh, sorry sth360re fans, but this mod's first public alpha beta release will have to delay so much longer. I can't do anything with any of my files. So, I'm going to go ahead and get ready to wipe my whole computer and restart it again soon. :(
