after learning how to finally do basic lua I made this 
Paimentum is a funny lil momentum mod I guess sense it only messes with momentum but I digress.
In this Lua your momentum is added by its self making exponential and very hard to control, As a way to make it "playable" I've divided the added momentum... with the ring count,
Essentially its a ring penalty, how original! 
But you can disable the vertical momentum being changed with "togglevertmom"
You can also do "toggleinvertmom" to invert the added on momentum, Instead of adding on its subtracts off your momentum.
