Wad inserting help.

Whenever I try to insert a wad into the game it says it can't find the file and that it can't put it in the game. Anyone have any advice.

Is your WAD in the SRB2 folder?

If so, can we have a description of the EXACT error message or console message you're getting?

file mechasonic.wad not found
couldn't load wad file mechasonic.wad


It says this for every wad i try.

And what folder specifically am I supposed to put it in.

You are supposed to put it in the same folder as srb2win. I haven't tested this, but I think "addfile c:\folder\filename.wad" works too. The srb2 launcher can't add wads from other folders (unless you use manual perimeters).

Nevermind I got it to work. But is there a way to save what mods you add so everytime you start the game you don't have to put them in again.

Well, you could make a .bat file so that it loads a certain list of wads when you run it.
