Right click and give them the "Deaf" tag. Since Rings can't hear or see you anyways, STJR gave the tag another use.

Simply right click on the ring you've placed, and flag "deafed". However, be carefull to only deaf rings, not the other items.

Protip: Deafing the rings just make them float a few units above the ground, because it looks nicer than having them hugging the ground.
You can make 'em float at any height you want if you modify the Z offset or if you go into 3D mode and use the mousewheel while pointing at them.

Beginner's tip: use copy and paste on the ring so you don't have to do it on every ring you have.
