Ps I don't know how to make places without walls
 
You must have covered the area in water somehow, if drowning is in fact what's happening. Read the level tutorials carefully and begin with very simple maps: you can't jump right in and build a level straight away. Build up slowly, and make sure you understand everything you do: don't just follow instructions blindly.
 
It's impossible to discern what the problem is through your gibberish alone, post a screenshot or upload the wad so we can see for ourselves.

You were never drowning, you were being crushed because you were putting a player start in the thok barrier...
