They're a slightly different color than the un-animated.

No... My whole body is a slightly different color then Knuckles. And if you mean my spines are a different color then my head, that's a little thing called shading. It's just a coincedence that I chose to make them bend at the point where the next layer of shading started, but they were honestly that same color before I animated it.
