Alternatively, you can just select "All files" in the launcher.

Wrong, completely.

For the launcher, it won't work correctly.

You have to do it in the console.

Press: `/~(They are the same button)
Type in: RUNSOC onedge'ssrb2mod.soc
And there ya have it. ADDFILE won't make the SOC run like it should run.(Same with adding WADs using RUNSOC.)

No, you are wrong. SOCs run fine with ADDFILE.

I do not like to be in an argument, but, no, you are wrong. ADDFILE isn't exactly the way it should be. It works best with WADS, but not as good with SOCs. If you really want the SOCs to work correctly, then use RUNSOC.

It works in 4 differen't ways.

Console command: ADDFILE name.soc
Basic way to do.

Console command: RUNSOC name.soc
Specialized for SOCs, AND you can also run SOCs that are stored in already added wads. I'd recommend this.

Console command: EXEC name.soc
Ment for txt files, but it works for SOCs too. I wouldn't quite recommend this.

Launcher: Select SOC
Takes more time, but works best. If a wad/SOC is added directly from game startup, it works best. I'd highly recommend it.

All work just fine, and in most cases, there are hardly any differences in the result.

This not a wad it is a soc so how do you load it up into the game?

Why would you want to use it? I'll produce an EXE several times better later this summer. And this was mostly level headers....
