I didn't hear of Justin Beaver-- I mean Beiber until some girls started talking about him in my school when his album My World 2.0 was released. Every guy in my school including me are sick of him. When the guys talk about Bieber in a negative way, the girls get pissed. I don't say anything about him around the girls or else they'd kill me. Like last year they-- Nev3r mind... T_T

Unfortunately, that wouldn't have worked on the voting site, because Antarctica is not a sovereign nation and thus would not be included on the list of choices.

I think that's self-perpetuating, actually. People who hate him are so vocal and vitriolic that his fans don't dare to actually admit they like him, thus making it seem as though even fewer people like him.

I am not seeing much difference form if a person disliked another singer that sings songs of the same genre as Justin Bieber, can someone explain what is the difference?

I personally do not like his songs very much, but people being sick of a certain singer for whatever reason and expressing it in different ways has been happening for a long time and does not seem to change.

I do not keep up with why so-and-so likes/dislikes so-and-so at all since it does not seem much different from a person liking/disliking any other singer(s).
