Hello all!

So have you ever started movie mode in the hopes of catching something, well, interesting, only to spend a few minutes recording a GIF prior to actually doing it? Yep, I have. Often. So basically, I've been looking for a GIF editor that functions like a movie editor (trimming like in Vegas, or at least frame multi-select+delete, preferably with compensation for optimization upon execution) but has very technical GIF-specific operations, too (killing every other frame, killing every 2/3s frames, palette compression, lossy optimization, etc). So far I've found programs here and there that do only one or two of these things—many with annoying watermarks plastered on their output—but nothing that does any of them particularly well, let alone all of them.

What do you guys use to trim your GIFs? I'm currently on a mashed-up mess of GIF Animator, ezgif.com, and GIMP.
