PLEASE S.O.S HELP!

You only just downloaded 1.09.2? or 1.09.0?
The srb2.srb for 1.09.2 and 1.09.0 are diffrent, name the 1.09.0 srb file to something else, like IWAD.srb and name the 1.09.0 exe to something else like srb2109.exe, then make a batch file, like this:

srb2109.exe -iwad IWAD.srb

If you use openGL type

Code: 
srb2109.exe -iwad IWAD.srb -opengl

Name the batch files to something like, srb2109.bat and srb2109OGL.bat.
 
ok then, reinstall srb2!

...or maybe its the launcher looking in the wrong directory or something, it happened to me when it was pinned on the start menu, if you have done that, make a shortcut and pin that instead.

Uh, no, Ree-c. It means that you edited srb2.srb, and it won't load an edited version, in order to prevent cheating. So, reinstall it, or rpleace your srb2.srb with an old one consistent with your version.
 
The solution is to reinstall srb2, or just get a clean, unedited copy of srb2.srb.

...I can't beleive that crossed my mind. O.o
