It would of been nice if Sonicteam add a nice combat system to Night's.

Ne'ways, I never got to play the origional NiGHTS, but i'll check this game out when I can.

What the hell is NiGHTS? (the character)

There are Nightopians, and Nightmarens. Nightopians are those bald things with farie wings that you see in the NiGHTS cassinopolis machine in SA. Nightmaren have more varieties. The tiny marens you can morph to your Nightopians, like chao and animals in the chao garden. The other main maren are a fat rabbit opera singer named Puffy, an invisible maren, who wears an orange cape, orange gloves, and shoes, and an orange jester hat. That ones name is Jackle. There is a big blue fish with sharp teeth named Gulpo, a creepy green and blue dragon thing named Gillwing, and a big black and red cat named Clawz. The three are Reala, a Maren that looks like NiGHTS, but has a black and red jester hat. There's Wizeman, who created them all, and of course, our NiGHTS. The one who betrayed the other maren.

NiGHTS and Reala are twins created at the same time.

NiGHTS betrayed Wizeman so Reala sealed NiGHTS away in the Ideya Temple.
He is freed by Elliot and Claris and they defeat Wizeman.
But, 11 years (10 originaly) later, the dream world of Nightopia gets disturbed again, so NiGHTS calls upon 2 children to help save Nightopia and everyones Dreams.
