A toaster.

Did I hear that correctly? A toaster, as in 'make toast', as in 'heat bread to high levels to turn it brown and crispy'?

Wow... Looking at that article about how it has apache and PHP installed and running made me just burst into laughter.
I mean, come on! A toaster acting as a webserver?!? That's just wierd.

It can. It has a 512MB compact flash integrated. And, it has a serial, an USB port, and Ethernet (!) too.
Of course, it can only host small websites (around ~100MB).
Maybe we can port SRB2 to it (thanks X11!)

o.o
Of all the time they could've spent on something usefull... They chose to make a toaster that runs NetBSD...
-.- This is why we're not zooming around in hover cars yet.

LET'S DO THE FREAKIN' TOAST!

Seriously, you can even compile programs with this toaster.

'kay, I'll just compile a program to automatically toast my toast at 6 A.M..

Seriously, this whole thing is lame >_>.

Mmmmmmh... I think that the NetBSD is only used for create customizable toasting programs...

"Of course it runs NetBSD"
No, NetBSD is a fully-fledged UNIX-like OS like Linux or/and FreeBSD
I've heard that PSP contains some code from NetBSD.
Oh, and because I got broadband (four days ago) I downloaded it (v.2.0.2/x86).
One thing I noticed is that NetBSD supports too few soundcards (my CM8738 doesn't work with it, while on Linux and other *BSDs it works out of the box ).
But NetBSD is still nice, though (I can survive without audio).
