By looking at the screenshots, it looks a bit small, try and increase the size a bit, but I might give this a try out.

Hm... The top of the trees look too small, try making them a bit wider.

This is too cramped. The bushes have no color in them. Try adding some somehow.

I haven't played the new verion due to my XP being crap, but instead of making the platforms bigger, try increasing the level itself by 2X its side.

I am using XP though, I admit. I just don't have a screen for my mac right now =P
