It's fairly simple, it uses A_RandomState and then A_SpawnObjectRelative to spawn a random enemy. The delay is decent enough to avoid lag (except if you add a ridiculous amount and leave it for a while, but you probably already knew that), and the soc includes several varieties of spawning combinations.

1316: Spawns Red and Blue Crawlas

Well, I guess what I meant to ask was, which gametypes does it work under? All of them, or...?

I remember that .soc. I had quite a lot of fun with that when JTE decided to die on me (hell, the bots aren't the smartest, either).
 
srb2kirbyo made a script that lists all the maps in BOOLDC. I think this will be helpful for players hosting the wad on their server, so I've included it in the first post.
