Hello, i would like to know what things i can change into models, because iv'e got this in my md2.dat at the moment (not finished yet)
PLAY PLAY.md2 9.0 0.0
NWNG NWNG.md2 9.0 0.0
RING RING.md2 4.0 0.0 that's it at the moment
but does it have to be like this to work
PLAY PLAY.md2 9.0 0.0
RING RING.md2 4.0 0.0
NWNG NWNG.md2 9.0 0.0
.besides that, what things can i change? i have it like PLAY PLAY.md2 9.0 0.0
NWNG NWNG.md2 9.0 0.0
RING RING.md2 4.0 0.0 but the rings are still in there sprites, not model

And what are the things names, because i would like to replace some more.....stuff with models,
Thanks in advance.

What? what has that got to do with the post above you? i know you can change the sprites, i just want to know the sprite names, because it says "CAN'T FIND: RING"

Oh, oops. I thought you were asking exactly what you can change. Have you tried looking in srb2.srb?

The first four letters of the sprite's lumpname. Animation keyframes are used to find the fifth letter. (First frame - A, Second - B, ect) and the rest is unneeded.

That means: Go figure out how SRB2's lumps and animations work BEFORE making 3D models.

Prefix, then angles.

For example:
PLAY = Prefix
A1 = Animation frame A, angle 1.
PLAYA1 = total lump name.

So, PLAY would be what you'd use for the name there.

So, find the prefix for whatever you're looking for.

A png picture file with the same name as the md2. Also, could you tell me what program you are using to make the md2s?

Well, there's a problem there as well.

GFZ uses sector-based sprites (which look and work much better) so adding MD2s for those will only affect sprite-based spikes.
