Master Server changes to LAN

I was on my server with two people.
Then I got an error from the Master Server and the people on my server
were still on.
Does this mean it was changed to LAN?

How can a Master Server "change to LAN" please? LAN is a local network, and I doubt the Master Server will suddenly be on your local network. It simply shut off.

You don't need the master server to stay in the server.
