i'm stuck! please help me!

ok, so basicly i was trying out my first ever character wad,
but as soon as i descend from a spring, it screws up and says "segment violation"!
Can someone please help me?

"PLAYP1-8" sprites are missing. Check if they are inside the wad with the correct name.

so do i just go to entry, click: new and insert the sprite?

Not only one. You need PLAYP1, PLAYP2P8, PLAYP3P7, PLAYP4P6 and PLAYP5 if you want to make it simple. Can you upload the actual WAD somewhere? I wanna take a look and see what is wrong.

since it's my first wad, i just used xwe with shadow and replaced all of the sprites. so there's still some more to do.
but at the moment, i need to fix the spring descend problem.

I don't know, I don't see anything wrong. Anyway, I remember the first time I've made a recolor (Lol)... I've had lots of problems with the sprite names, and that's why I left the "project". Well, I hope that somebody else can help you, I can't do anything, sorry.

I think it's the PLAYA-PLAYa & PLAYB-PLAYb sprites conflict. Look in the Wiki for more info.

Hey, wait till 1.1 if we get MORE lower case lumps it'll crash characters worse than just the lower case spring one. But yeah all the lower case jumps need a fixing.
