How do I make circuits?

Round based circuit maps:

1.) The finish line has to have the sector type 994. Doom Builder doesn't recognize this sector type but don't worry about that.

2.) To make it work you'll have to have at least one starpost (checkpoint) in your level or the finish line will make you win the race immediately.
Doombuilder's "thoughts" without starposts quoted for the damn truth:

Ok, he's in the finish line sector, has he hit all the checkpoints? Yup, give him a lap, and unhit all the checkpoints. What's that? No checkpoints to hit? No matter, just keep going.
One 35th of a second later.

3.) The passing order of the starposts has to be defined by their "flags value". The first checkpoint has to have the smallest and the last checkpoint has to have the biggest value. To change the flags value of an object just open object properties and click into the little "flags value" box.
There you go. [1.: "0" | 2.: "1" | 3.: "2" | 4.: "3" | ...]

4.) To make sectors trigger checkpoints you have to place your starposts inside sectors of the type 993.

5.) Don't forget the level header.
"TypeOfLevel = 2" <--- for circuit only
