HELP! How do I unlock Ring modify and Level selct w/emeralds

Title says it all really. I've unlocked Level select on V. Hard but without any emeralds! Help please!

Did you get all the emeralds when you beat it.

In order to have all the emeralds in the level select cheat you have to beat the game with all the emeralds.
