>_> Please?

Anyway, it's a 3D shooting game. It's pretty good, but the hacking ruins it.

So if it's already ruined, why would I play it?

Anyone on it right now? I'd love to pwn someone with my duel sub-machine guns.

The game seems to have a hacker infestation...
Well, keep an eye out for me. My name will be Grenkata.
Odd name. I know. It's based off one of my WoW character names.

Kind of reminds me of Gunbound. Wow, what problems it has with online play! Sometimes after one person takes his turn, it doesn't move to the next person and gets stuck until that person leaves. It happened to me once and some morons said I was on dial-up when I really wasn't. Stupid people. In addition, the game has hacking protection, but it never, ever works.

Also, Maple Story has had some hacking problems with people flying through the air and such. Most of them got banned though. And at least that game has a tutorial in it along with a decent English translation.

NGG made me download this several months ago.

Come to think of it, I never even installed it. Meh.

MWAH

GunZ is an alternative Third Person shooting game. It may not be much from graphics but the gameplay gives it quite many hours of fun. However due to it being only at BETA stage at the moment, it gets boring after you reach level 21.

Currently Gunz has been plagued with the "Locust Plague":

== What is 'Locust Plague'? ==

Locust Plague injects code into your existing GunZ process which causes you
to use an exploit on others that ultimately attempts to delete their
character. For more information, review the useages and 'FAQ' sections.

== Why release 'Locust Plague'? ==

MAIET, the company which owns GunZ, has failed to address several high-risk
exploits within GunZ. The intent of 'Locust Plague' is to get enough
people exploiting one of these risks, character deletion, so that MAIET is
more/less forced to take action. Also, it's kinda fun.

== How 'Locust Plague' operates ==

When you have launched 'Locust Plague' and enabled it, any players that
become listed on the right side of your chat area will be exploited. To
attack more targets, just scroll the player list up/down to have more names
become listed. This will only work on the six names listed in your current
chatroom, not with your Friends or Clan list.

If anyone´s interested, i´m level 22, i got a Long Coat, Maxwell RX30 Rifle, a Military Sword, a pair of black pants i can´t remember the name of, and i´m waiting to get my dual pistols soon enough.

... That's a dumb reason.

Well that's nice of you to think that.

But, this plague will not have the desired effect. In fact, it's just stupid. Why? I'll tell you why...

This plague will only cause the full version release to DELAY even more then it already HAS, only because the MAIET crew will have to undo the damage and neutralise it before doing anything ELSE.

In short, Locust Plague has failed to do any good to all International GunZ players.

And really, another alternative would have been to tell them about the possible hacking risks. You can't fix bugs you don't know about.
... Well, maybe you can. On accident. I dunno...

Yes, hacking IS one way of telling them. But sending an e-mail or posting on their message board is a better way. Hacking's just an excuse to cause trouble. >_>

True. Still, this hack´s plain unnecessary. And it will stall everything, including getting the Ping 999 problem fixed, whcich many people, including me, have been experiencing. >_>
